This has been an interesting day. I like the idea of a contest with prize money at stake. It creates competition and thus improves the overall skill of the animators. It would be nice if there were more days like this. I think I am going to make a submission for Pico Day 2009, however. I don't like being constricted to the boundaries that most people create their flashes in. For example, most of the Pico Day flashes I've seen today take place completely in the Newgrounds universe, with Nene, Darrell, and other NG characters. If I make one it is going to be much different. Hopefully I'll increase my ability enough to win a monetary prize next year.

I have doubts that I will ever make a good flash movie because I have an inability to focus. Maybe I have attention deficit disorder, or maybe it's my sugary, caffeiney (is that even a word?), unhealthy diet. Either way, it sucks and I wish I could get rid of it. Maybe I just need to practice being patient with myself. In the meantime, I guess I'll just improve the script for what will hopefully be a good flash movie one day.

What's with all the 'crews' on Newgrounds whose only purpose is to get their crappy movies saved? You're just wasting your life. Please try improving your skills, it'll be worth it.
